To provide a bright beginning for all Colorado children by helping families support their children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life

During the first few years of life, babies will grow and develop more dramatically than at any other time. Meeting children’s needs for nurturing, intellectual stimulation, health care and language development is critical to building a strong foundation that will allow children to succeed in school and throughout life.

The following programs are offered to any interested families at no cost throughout the state of Colorado.

Visits to parents of newborns, offering broad based support and providing information on health, safety, childcare, community resources, health insurance, early brain development and highlighting the importance of reading to children from birth.

Visits to parents of children ages 12-24 months offering parents specific information, assessments, and tools to promote language development during the second year of life.
