Home Visit Volunteer
Visit with families and deliver program materials during an interactive
home visit. Increas awareness of the importance of reading to, talking
with, and encouraging and playing with babies and young children. Volunteer
requirements include: Eighteen years old, criminal background check,
three references, and complete a minimum of one home visit per month.
Receptionist Volunteer
Greet the people who come to Colorado Bright Beginnings, help with phone
calls, mailings and other administrative tasks.
Materials Volunteer
The management of program supplies is crucial to successful Warm Welcome
and Moving On visits. This volunteer could organize and inventory printed
materials and other community resources. Gift bags can be prepared ahead
of time, including enclosing any books, toys or other baby items to
be included in the visitation kit. This is an excellent job for someone
who wants to be involved, but has limited time or transportation.
Data Entry Technician
This job is not for the faint of heart or typing-impaired! Anyone assisting
by completing data entry tasks must be extremely accurate, detail-oriented,
able to follow established protocol to the letter and willing to incorporate
changes as directed. Only the well seasoned and computer literate should
be assigned to this position and should expect to dedicate more time
to training than for other volunteer tasks. This information not only
goes into the statewide database, but affects availability of records
at the regional level, also. The time required for this job would flexible
and could be done via the internet from home or at the Bright Beginning’s
office.
Donate
We accept new or gently used baby and toddler clothes, blankets, and
other items. Monetary donations are also accepted. Checks can be made
